Risk Analysis – Quiet Standing

What is your #riskanalysis of the standing shown here?
Let me go first and you comment on which part I get wrong.
Ready?

Every single worker here is standing with #lockedknees or #leaning on something in #quietstanding with no #movement. Although they move frequently just like #manufacturing#retail#offices#education and #government, they all stop just as commonly, at #standingworkstations to perform #repetitivetasks. Each time we stop moving at any workstation, humans experience #posturalsway that within moments, causes #fatigue and #discomfort as our body works to hold #balance in #gravity. There are no chairs here so they must make contact with a stationary object somehow (lean) to control the sway or they lock their knees to feel some form of #stability.

Fatigue from postural sway combined with #backpain from locked knees, results in more impaired #cognitivefocus. It’s no wonder we see #productivity issues, #losttime#turnover#injuries and lack of #engagement in standing jobs.

OK, now its your turn…………..

Think #balance and #stability to engage the legs in #standing wherever people stop long enough to use the floor mats you bought.
